Monthly Rock
Alan Stivell – Brian Boru Yeah sure, this is not rock but celtic music. I didn’t want to create another topic just for this song.

Monthly Techno/Trance/Dance
LukHash (SH Music) – 8bit no Tamashi Thanks to my friend Hua Wang I found this music, and the jamendo.com site where I’ve downloaded lots of free music :) We used this piece in our kinect game UFO Escape!

Monthly Classical Piece
Frédéric Chopin – Prelude in E Minor, Opus 28 No. 4 How can I have missed so many great pieces from Chopin, you know what will be coming in the future :P

Monthly C64 Remix
Ben Daglish – Trap Title As with many of the other C64 music I have listed I haven’t played this game, but I love the music. I especially like the beginning and the end because how heavy it feels.

Monthly Game Music
World of WarCraft – Tavern

Monthly Anime Song
Naruto – Wind Oh this is one of the best outros I have heard. I don’t expect you to like it, because I honestly didn’t like it at all, until I had heard it for about 5 times, it had then transformed from bad to absolutely amazing :D

Monthly Rock
Ebba Grön – Die Mauer A Swedish song that is older than me, I would call this a classic.

Monthly Techno/Trance/Dance
Ewan Dobson – Time 2 (Guitar) Probably more instrumental than techno/trans/dance, but I can’t create a new category for every genre that exists. The piece contains awesome echo effects and makes it come alive more—I don’t know if the echo effects are only made by the guitar or both guitar and samling/mastering (I don’t know the correct terms).

Monthly Classical Piece
J. Strauss Jr – The Blue Danube I think everyone has heard this piece. I think it appears in a comedy movie when they fly among the clouds in the sky… Maybe it was a Monty Python sketch…

Monthly C64 Remix
Monty on the Run and Commando High Score Medley (’97 XG Mix) A calm mix of calm original C64 music.

Monthly Game Music
Zelda: Twilight Princess – Midna’s Desperate Hour Although I don’t like the game, feels a bit dull, I still love some of the music in the game, this one especially; although this piece contributes to the dullness in-game :P

Monthly Anime Song
Fullmetal Alchemist – Ready Steady Go At first I didn’t like this song, but as usual I started liking it after a few episodes since I always watch the intro of the anime. If you know Swedish you can discern “Bajsa” which means poop, that makes the song even better xD

I missed last month’s edition of ‘Monthly Music’, I’m still proud I managed to do one every month for so long, half a year. Hmm, doesn’t seems so long :P
Here’s this months edition of Monthly Music at least.

Monthly Rock
Hel – Valkyriors Dom Swedish artist, this is, what I think, the best song they have made. And by God it wants me to work twice as fast every time. I don’t know how many times this has come on when I took the bike to and fro Ronneby when I lived in Kallinge, it always ended up with me being dead when I arrived at my destination.

Monthly Techno/Trance/Dance
Arisen – My Life For You (Original Mix) Very good! Nothing more is needs to be said.

Monthly Classical Piece
L.V. Beethoven – Piano Sonata in D minor Op.31 No.2 ‘Tempest’ mvt.3 Allegretto This piece is not too well known, I think; I discovered it myself when it came on from that huge classic collection that I have in my playlist. What was my point again? Nevermind.

Monthly C64 Remix
Terminal Storm – Bros Intro (M.A.C.C.) From the same group that did an excellent remix on cooperation demo (from my first monthly music)

Monthly Game Music
Final Fantasy VII – Opening (Bombing Mission) How astonishing good this piece is! Gives me goosebumps whenever I listen to it. This is the orchestrated version, I don’t know if I like this or the original better. If you like this be sure to check out the original too!

Monthly Anime Song
Gundam SEED – Akatsuki no Kuruma (piano version) This piece is so beautiful, and I played it on my piano concert and failed quite hard :P

Monthly Rock
Radiohead – Creep I didn’t like Radiohead from the start, but I think I’ve changed my mind, at least on some of their songs. This is probably my favorite, but I haven’t listened through all of their songs yet :)

Monthly Techno/Trance/Dance
Nelka – Beautiful Dawn (Dumonde Dub Remix) One of my favorite trance music, especially after the third minute, that’s when the really good part begins.

Monthly Classical Piece
Beethoven – Symphony no. 7, II mvt. One of the most beautiful classical pieces. You might have heard it recently if you watched “Knowing” since makes an appearance in that movie.

Monthly C64 Remix
Rayza – Oldschool (Way To Binary Mix)

Monthly Game Music
Trine – Dragon Graveyard By far the best piece from Trine, in my opinion.

Monthly Anime Song
Naruto – Haruka Kanata I can still remember the parts of the lyrics. Used to sing this with a no-lyrics version.

Monthly Rock
In Flames – Trigger Another great In Flames song, although not as good as ‘the quiet place’ it is one of their best song, in my opinion.

Monthly Techno/Trance/Dance
Baby Alice – Silicon Valley Not the best sound quality since it is sort of a live performance (both live and pre-recorded sounds are mixed).

Monthly Classical Piece
Schubert – Impromptu in G-flat Major D.899 Op. 90 mvt. 3 One of the most beautiful piano pieces ever composed. I also had a chance to see a live performance with this—my piano teacher which played it really good at a concert.

Monthly C64 Remix
RunStop64 – Albedo 2

Monthly Game Music
Metal Gear Solid 4 – Old Snake This is really a great game, and now when the new HD editions of the old games will be out (except for the first game) I need to play through them one more time to fully get the great story. As usual I ended the game sort of at the penultimate boss :P

Monthly Anime Song
Gundam SEED – Anna ni Issho Datta no ni This is my favorite music piece of all time and cross all genres. It probably has to do a lot with the anime since I still experience those feelings when I hear the song. This is also the only song that I never gotten tired of even though I listened to it at least once every day for half a year—okay I probably skipped two or three days, but that’s it—but I never got tired of it not even after half a year; I don’t remember the reason I stopped listening to it, but it wasn’t that I got tired of it at least. However I don’t listen to it quite as often now, maybe once or twice a month.
